We are officially halfway through our first season of the PT Poker League. As each league member has now had at least 2 zero point performances, all scores the rest of the way will count towards the standings (if you recall, top 10 results over the 12 weeks count).
I would also like to start thinking about season 2. With summer on the way, I am sure many would want to wrap up any second season before the Phish tour comes our way in June. A ten week second season would wrap up the Monday before the "summer" tour starts, so that may be an option.
I would also like to gather feedback on the scoring system, in hopes to improve things for season 2. I, for one, think that the current system is too exclusive, and skews the points too much for top 1 or 2 finishes. If you have some ideas, please use the comment box below the share them.

I agree the point system is skewed. I think for season 2 1st place gets x number of points, second gets x-1 number of points and so on. So if there are 35 people that entered the tournament, 1st place gets 35 points, 2nd gets 34, and 35th gets 1 point.
