Welcome to the Phantasy Tour Poker League!

Welcome to the Phantasy Tour Poker League! Starting January 5th our weekly PT Poker Game on Full Tilt will be part of the PT Poker League Season 1.

How this works:

While the scoring system and league entry cost have not been finalized, your finishing position each week in the PT Poker Game may qualify you for league points.

A standard points system may look like this:

Fourth through Ninth Place (Final Table) - 25
Third Place - 50
Second Place - 75
Win - 100

The season will run 12 weeks, and your top 10 finishes will count towards scoring. That way, if you miss a week or two it is no big deal.

Prior to the start of the season, the entry cost must be transferred to my Full Tilt account. The cost is up for debate, but it looks like anything between $20 and $50 is likely.

Depending on the number of league members, the winner will receive 50% of the prize pool, with the remaining 50% being split up in appropriate shares for the next few finishers.

Come visit the PT Poker discussion thread on the "green" board to share your thoughts.

Hey bash....
why not give the league winner 60% of the prize pool. Its a long season and whoever wins deserves a more handsome reward.

Final table gets too many pts I think. 25 for making the ft and only 50 for 3rd? Final table shouldnt be hard to make with our avg size tourney. Maybe 10 pts for final table?

1st:100 pts.
2nd:65 pts.
3rd:35pts.
4th-7th:20pts
8th and 9th:10pts

that means a total of 300 points its delved out for the final table per game.

There is no way around the risk of a tie unless you make the point totals for 2nd place on down oddball totals such as 62pts. for 2nd, and so on.
